Write Right Manuscript Critiques – Successful Self-Editing
Date:  Thursday, June 6, 2013
Time:  8:00 pm EST

Do you desire to take your writing to the next level? Are you receiving rejections that say, “Love your idea, but your writing needs work?” Maybe you are a speaker who is confident in your speaking skills, but not so confident as a writer.

Whether you have published or desire to publish, self-editing is a crucial skill as a professional writer. The more skilled you become, the more opportunities you have to gain the attention of a publisher or agent. In this call, Suzie Eller will offer a “thick-skinned manuscript critique” of three selected nonfiction articles and/or chapters submitted by participants. Using these examples, participants and Suzie will work through the top ten self-editing techniques to make your writing more polished and powerful.

*Participants who sign up for this original call may submit a nonfiction article of up to three pages of a sample chapter one from a work-in-progress to be considered for the critique. Suzie will choose up to four. Critique of your submission is not guaranteed.

Our group calls have something for everyone!  For those of you who want to dip your toes into our speaker coaching services while considering our individual services, group services are for you.  For those who have a smaller budget for your speaking development, group services are for you too.  And for clients of our individual services who are craving more information, you’re invited to join as well!

Our group services are in conference call format, and these calls are scheduled quarterly. Each call costs $25, will be a total length of one hour and will include at least 15 minutes for open question and answer at the end.  The calls will be available for purchase one at a time so that you can choose the ones that you most need for your ministry.

Although the group services don’t include the in-depth personal feedback that our individual services offer, you’ll be able to ask questions that address the individual needs of your ministry during the live call.  A handout will be included for each call so that you can build an informational library of all the topics covered.  Recordings of the call (without the handouts) will be available at a slightly reduced cost 4 weeks after the call.

Paypal, our method of payment for the group coaching calls, allows you to pay ahead so that you’ll be on the list to receive the call-in information for each call for which you register.  Registration will begin at least a month before each scheduled call.  Calls will also be recorded so that subscribers can listen at their convenience.  We can’t wait to interact with more of you than ever!

Pre-Recorded Calls

You can purchase the recordings of previously recorded calls, so you won’t miss anything.  Recordings will be available for $20 approximately one month after the original call.  Recording access links will be included in a “Thank you for the purchase” email from Next Step to you after your purchase.  Please note that this purchase is for the recording only, and no handouts are included.
