Writing Services–More Detail

Last week we announced Suzie Eller’s addition to Next Step’s services.  To give you a snapshot of what it’s like to work with Suzie, today we’re interviewing Angie Welikala.  Angie has done speaker services with Next Step as well as writing services with Suzie.  She has a vibrant and growing ministry and has some great insights to share today.  Please welcome Angie!  ~Amy

Q: How did working with Suzie help with your proposal development?

After frantically learning and creating something on my own I decided to seek Suzie’s help. What a blessing! She took my project, thoughts and ideas and helped me create a beautiful document ready for Zondervan publishing house.

Q: In what ways did the phone calls make a difference?

Connecting with her one on one was very helpful. It really helped to create synergy in our proposal. You can only email soooo much!

Q: Would you recommend her services to others?

Absolutely! I would just start with her first! I referred another friend to her and her book proposal was chosen by an agent. Suzie has got this down!

Q: Describe a break-through moment that took place in the process.

By working with Suzie, it really helped me to have a clear focus and vision for my book! It was life changing! God was working everything out.

Q: Did this help you move closer toward your publishing/ministry dreams?

God is still baking our book, but it allowed me to meet Esther Fedorkevich. We currently released an eBook to start with while I finish with all the research on my first project!!!  God is Good!!! Suzie is GREAT!!!!

If you’d like more information about Suzie’s service after reading this interview and the service description, please fill out the “Request Information” form.  Make a note that you’d like to do a free consultation call with Suzie, and we’ll get back to you to within 2 business days to schedule a call.

  1. Caroline Hinton says:

    Good Morning,

Fellow women in the Lord. Thanks for the encouraging stories.

I am also a writer, evangelist, poet, who writes about the positive things of God.. Is there a way I may share some of my experiences/writings/poetry/short parable-like stories, with you and the other people of God? As my forte is the Parable-Stories, I do have, in addition to that, a supply of victorious non-fiction life experiences to share.

Further more, I am a Black divorcee who has been celibate for almost 20 years. I am a mother of two grown daughters, and I am a grandmother of one little boy who is seven years old.

Tell me how I may submit writings. Do you pay for some submissions?

    Yours in positive faith,

    Caroline Hinton,
    Daughter of Consolation

      Caroline,
Thanks so much for your questions! You have quite a story, and I’m sure many would be blessed by reading it. Our site doesn’t take writing submissions, but Proverbs 31 Ministries has a magazine that accepts submissions. Here is the link to the guidelines: http://www.proverbs31.org/magazine/submit-an-article/

If you are also looking for ways to be published, I highly recommend our She Speaks conference where you can meet with Christian publishers. The website with all the details is http://www.shespeaksconference.com. Registration opens this Wednesday, and we fill up fast. I hope our paths might cross there!
